Main structure of ring main cabinet
The ring network cabinet is composed of bus room, three position load switch room (or circuit breaker room), cable room, operating mechanism and interlocking mechanism It is composed of low-voltage control room and measuring or metering circuit. Each compartment is separated by steel plate, so as to avoid the fault part affecting the adjacent compartment. 1) Bus room
The busbar chamber is arranged on the upper part of the cabinet body, in which the main busbar is connected together and runs through the whole row of switchgear. The bus is arranged horizontally and can be expanded easily.
2) Load switch room
A three position load switch is installed in the load switch room. The shell of the load switch is made of epoxy resin, filled with SF6 gas as arc extinguishing and insulating medium. Two transparent plastic end caps are set at the leading out end of the operating shaft, through which the contact state can be observed. SF6 gas density meter or gas density device with alarm contact can be installed in the switch room according to the user's requirements.
3) Cable room
The cable room is mainly used for cable connection, so that single core or three core cable can be connected by the simplest unshielded cable head, and at the same time, sufficient space can also accommodate lightning arrester, current transformer, voltage transformer, lower grounding switch and other components. According to the standard design, the cabinet door has a view window and a safety interlock device. The bottom plate of the cable chamber shall be equipped with a sealing cover and a cable clamp with a suitable size with a support frame. The front frame of the bottom plate of the cable chamber can be removed to facilitate the installation and removal of cables.
4) Operating mechanism, interlocking mechanism and low pressure control room
The low-voltage room with interlock functions as control panel at the same time. The LV room is equipped with spring operating mechanism and mechanical interlocking device with position indicator, auxiliary contact, trip coil, emergency trip mechanism, capacitive live display device, key lock and electric operating device, and the LV room space can also be equipped with secondary components such as control circuit, metering instrument and protection relay.
